Such has been Electro-tec's rapid expansion that it was decided to implement a custom built stock control and materials requirements planning system and CIOS were chosen to develop this.
The system was developed using SQL Server, ASP.NET2 and C# and is hosted at Rackspace.
Amongst other functionality the system flags up potential component shortages based on historical usage and lead time information during the production of bills of materials and manufacturing instruction sheets.
It has now been decided that CIOS should develop an estimating module and billing system to run in conjunction with the stock control system.
